Mob Street Tuesday is one of my favorite days of the week. I love to get a glimpse of street scenes from around the globe to visit places I may never see except through the eyes of someone's camera lens. Thanks to all of you who participate each week! Please visit the

The images in this showcase display some of the classic rules of photography that make an image stand out.
Image by Karen Axelrad demonstrates excellent use of the Rule of Thirds placing both subjects along the lower one-third horizontal line of the photo. UPDATE: It was correctly pointed out to me that I mistakenly noted the Rule of Thirds being used in the photo below. I stand corrected in that none of the subjects actually fall on the intersection of the vertical or horizontal lines when a grid is placed over the image. Sorry for the confusion.
