The MPA and the Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts are pleased to announce an open call for entries for POCKET VISTAS: A Mobile Photography Exhibition for Landscapes, Nature & Wildlife images.

Images created with all mobile phones and tablets are eligible. Submissions are open to photographers and artists worldwide. You may enter right here.

A field of flowers with eye-popping color. A tiny figure at the edge of a canyon. Horses in motion, a sun drenched forest, a misty morning oceanfront...Mobile photographers create some of the world's most compelling photographs of the natural world. The best work engages the aesthetics, craft, and tradition of landscape photography while embracing the advantages of the camera phone. The Pocket Vistas jury seeks to curate a set of 40+ images of Landscapes, Nature & Wildlife to showcase the diversity, breadth and talent in the mobile photo and art communities.

The photographs chosen for exhibit will be on view at the BMFA Arts Centre in the Blue Mountain ski resort town of Collingwood, Ontario from September 3rd through 28th, 2014. All selected images are printed on archival exhibition fibre paper, matted and framed.
