If you are familiar with my Instagram gallery @gericentonze, I normally list apps I use to edit my images. This serves both as an aid to help anyone who would like to know more about my process and also helps me to remember what steps I took in case I would like to recreate a certain style.

One of the apps you'll see over and over again is Tangled FX (available on The App Store for $1.99) Tangled FX is known for its dramatic styles which really alter an image, but with a little tweaking you can customize and save styles to use over and over again.

One of the important things to know when using Tangled FX is to make sure you save the image in the Full Size and not the Preview Size. The Preview Size loads faster and is for previewing styles. But when you want to render the image for saving, you need to switch it over to Full Size. On the iPad that can be found on the top left (on the iPhone it's in the top center).
