GIVEAWAY - Videohance Does More Than Just Apply Filters
I've had to keep this secret under wraps for a little while as I was given a sneak peak to look at Videohance before it was released. Videohance comes from the same great folks at Oringe Photo who developed Word Swag and Climate Clock.
With Videohance you can edit your existing videos or record a new one from the app. When you open the app, first select a size - 1x1 (Instagram fans will want to use this one) or 16x9 which looks best on YouTube, Facebook.
Once you have your video imported or newly recorded, you can then edit the color by choosing from any of the included 41 Presets. If you don't find a style that suits your mood, you can also adjust saturation, brightness, exposure, contrast, hue, white balance, highlights and shadows.
Next on to the Overlay section which includes 12 Light Leaks (plus 6 optional to purchase), 9 Stylized Overlays, 8 Grit and Grain Overlays (plus 5 optional to purchase), 3 Blur Overlays, 16 Gradient Overlays and 4 Vignettes. You can vary the opacity for as subtle or intense an effect as you prefer.
But wait, there's more! Add a Frame - select from 27 styles and 43 colors. Whew! That's a lot of choices.
Happy with the way it looks? Next add Audio by selecting from the music on your device. You can get even more creative by splicing the video and inserting images or just combine a series of images. Save your video or upload directly to Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, Tumblr. There's also an option to send in text or email your video.
I had an existing stop-motion video that I created recently. I love the way I was able to spruce it up using Videohance!
UPDATE from developer regarding resolution: Right now the app only supports up to 640 pixels wide, but our biggest priority right now is upping that to at least 1280x720 output, and 1920x1080 if possible.
